Stupid things I hear my co-workers say:
“It took me nearly an hour and a half to get to work today. The power went off last night and so my alarm clock did not wake me up. What was once a 20 minute commute now took me an hour and a half. The thing that pissed me off the most was that no one was using the emergency lane, so I zipped on up it.”
The stupidity here is that there is a reason no one uses the emergency lane to drive in rush hour traffic! Most people realize the emergency lane is for emergencies. If your blocking the emergency lane, then how can an ambulance or fire truck get where it needs to? Is the time you spend getting to work so valuable that you want to risk someone else’s life?
