Baboon, Baboon,
Baboon, Baboon,
Baboon, Baboon
Baboon, Baboon
He doesn’t want to go school,
Only wants to play it cool.
He just wants to play all day,
Soak up every last sunshine ray.
Such a careless little baboon,
For him night time comes too soon.
Baboon, Baboon,
Baboon, Baboon,
Baboon, Baboon,
Baboon, Baboon
He doesn’t put away his toys,
Always fights with the other boys.
Jumping around on the jungle gym,
Swinging in trees from limb to limb.
One day that boy’s gonna get hurt,
Makes his parents every alert.
Baboon, Baboon,
Baboon, Baboon,
Baboon, Baboon,
Baboon, Baboon
He never studies for the test,
Never tries to do his best.
Reads a comic during class,
Laughs when he passes gas.
Sent home three days last week,
Played a prank during hide and seek.
Baboon, Baboon,
Baboon, Baboon,
Baboon, Baboon,
Baboon, Baboon
But that was when he was a lad,
Now he’s a responsible dad.
Worries all day and every night,
Boy his kid gives him such a fright.
Trying to raise his own baboon,
Ch, how childhood ends too soon.
