Forbidden fruit,
That Eve ate,
She never saw the snake.
Adam never knew,
He only trusted,
He never saw the snake.
God saw the couple,
And shook his head,
He certainly saw the snake.
So God put his arm on Adam’s Shoulder,
He told him he was the damndest of the damn.
God ensured them that they would surely die.

They had to leave their cozy prefabricated life,
Thorns and bristles greeted their naked bodies after they left.
Man was clothed,
Greed ensured,
And damnation a certainty.
