by James McDuffie

Life in the Doldrums,
Moving Nowhere,
Stuck in the mud
With no sign of release.

Banging my head
Against a wall,
Because I can go
Nowhere but here.

My life is static,
I am frozen,
Pinned down by others
Who can not comprehend.

Here in the Doldrums,
I am sinking in the mud,
Going unconscious from
Terminal boredom.
